Church school -Sundays, 10:15am – 11:15am
This program explores Bible stories and relates them to young lives.  Children are excused from the Sunday worship service after the Children’s Moment and meet for a short time of singing and then go to their classrooms.  Church school is available for Children 3-years-old through 12th grade.

Summer Fun
Summer Fun meets 9am – 4pm for 5 Wednesdays during June and July.
All children, having completed Kindergarten through 5th Grade, are invited to join us at First Congregational Church for Summer Fun, an alternative to traditional Vacation Bible School that helps children learn about God and the earth God gave us!  We will be focusing on the world around us -  learning more about our responsibility to care for God’s creation.

Summer Fun will begin with registration each Wednesday at 8:45am.  We will begin with worship and music to help set the theme.  Some days we will stay at the Church for learning activities and/or key events, lunch, games and craft projects.  Other Wednesdays, we will travel to area attractions by van or leader vehicle.  Each child is to bring a sack lunch with his/her name on it.  Snacks and drinks will be provided. Some activities will involve getting wet! We ask that each child bring a change of clothes and an old pair of tennis shoes as we plan to get wet!  These can be left at church. You are to pick up your child at the Congregational Church at 4:00pm each Wednesday.

Cost per child for all five (5) events is $45. Families with two or more children attending all five events pay $35 per child.  You can register on a “per event” basis at a cost of $10 per day.  Each registrant must have a signed permission slip.

We want your children to attend!  If they are interested, but there is a financial difficulty that would prevent your child from attending, a scholarship will be made available.  Please contact Shannon Hanley at the First Congregational Church (897-5906).
