Music and the arts have always played an important role in the life of First Congregational Church. We enjoy a variety of musical expressions ranging from works by the classical composers to contemporary offerings. The musical experience at First Congregational includes traditional hymns, occasional praise and worship choruses, gospel and spiritual selections. First Congregational also offers special musical events throughout the year, check our calendar to see what's coming up next! Our church is blessed with a fine two-manual, 44 stop Allen Quantum digital organ and a Kurzweil digital piano. We welcome other instruments to join us as well.
The Chancel Choir leads us in song from September through the end of May. They are a highly dedicated group of people who enjoy the fun and camaraderie of singing together. We openly invite all ages from high school through adult to join us. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evenings from 7:15 - 8:30 PM in the sanctuary. No previous training or experience is necessary.
